25th Anniversary of the Genootschap Nederland-Aruba
On Saturday November 19, 2022, Princess Beatrix attended the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Genootschap Nederland-Aruba (GNA) in Theater Diligentia in The Hague. Beatrix attended the speeches by anthropologist 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗲 about ‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗻’ and from historian 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲 about ‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀’. Afterwards, the Dutch princess spoke with those involved in the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽 𝗡𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗮.
The 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽 𝗡𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗮, founded in 1997, is committed to strengthening the ties between the two countries within the Kingdom. Economic, social, educational, political and cultural relations have existed between the Netherlands and Aruba for a long time. In recent decades, the deepening has received an impulse, especially since the independent status as a country Aruba within the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1986.
